Beverly Kuykendall
Beverly Kuykendall is an expert at working with large businesses to develop small business programs that meet public sector requirements. In today’s economic environment, large businesses require sound business reasons to do business with small business. “Because it’s the right thing to do” does not quite inspire quality small business programs that work. In fact, FCCi facilitates the development of small business programs that accomplish three strategic objectives (1) Return on Investment by working with small businesses in all categories 8(a), HUB Zone, SDVOSB and WOSB. (2) Incremental Increase in Market Share and (3) Strategic Market Advantage. FCCi has successfully helped organizations gain maximum benefit from the well of diversity for more than 20 years. And the diversity successes she achieves for customers extend far beyond compliance. These are manifest in quality work and maximum return on investment that have become constant in FCCi Small Business solutions. Beverly is experienced in logistics, distribution, sales and marketing management with such firms as Procter and Gamble, American Hospitals Supply, Herman Miller and Xerox Corporation and from leading her own public sector consulting firm.
Beverly is a strong advocate of small business and this is reflected in her years of service as co-founder and/or past president of small business organizations such as the Healthcare Supplier Diversity Alliance, The National Minority Medical Suppliers Association and the National Association of Market Developers. Beverly’s knowledge of federal issues and her professional, dynamic delivery of provocative messages centered on small business make her a highly sought-after keynote and seminar speaker. She has served as keynote speaker, panelist and panel moderator for a number of government agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, National Geospatial Agency, National Security Agency, General Services Administration, Federal Aviation Administration and many others. She earned a BS degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly University, Pomona, California and an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
